Last semester there was a full station with a line through the turnstiles, down the stairs, and through the gate at Beechurst one day. More breakdowns, pods stopping on the tracks to let another by because they're not coordinated properly anymore, it takes longer for people to get where they're going so there are more backlogs at the stations. They completely overhauled the system and it has been really bad ever since. Last year, it was imperfect, had breakdowns as always, but ran pretty well. The PRT is Nixon era technology that could be really useful if the proper budget and good minds were put to running and improving it. Thanks for any insights that can help me assess and balance his takes on these matters. The rec center is so crowded in the late afternoon/early evening - particularly the fitness/weight room, that it’s a waste of time trying to go at this time.

There’s really not much use for Mountie Bounty beyond books/bookstore purchases, as there’s not all that many vendors/restaurants that accept it, that don’t already accept dining dollars.

The PRT has breakdowns fairly often, and impacted him getting to class on time at least 3-4 times in the fall, despite allowing almost an hour. The ZipCars are often damaged or being repaired, and not available. It’s not the easiest to get back forth between downtown and Evansdale on weekends, due to limited PRT service, inconsistent bus service and what seems to be really high Uber fees. He does have a bit of a penchant for painting things with quite a wide brush though, and I’m just wondering how much that’s the case here. I do need to note that he does love going to WVU, and is generally a positive and honest kid. I just find it a bit hard to believe some of the following narratives I hear from him.
